Caracas Wedding Venezuela | Eurobuildings Hotel & Suites and Valle Arriba Golf Club

It’s a huge privilege to share with all of you these wedding photographs. Everything started a few months ago. I was in Venezuela to teach an intense two days workshop for wedding photographers in the city of Puerto Ordaz (you can check the behind the scenes video at this link). There I met new talented photographers and I made some new good friends, between them, “el mitico” Jesus Ochoa, one of the best Venezuelan photographers out there and an incredible human being. He invited me to a wedding to shoot with him the last weekend I was In Venezuela and of course, I accepted. I really love to shoot as second, specially where I never been before in a particular venue and/or country. I can’t thank enough Samanta & Victor for let me be part of their amazing wedding day, I had such a great time! I hope you enjoy this wedding as much as I did,

See you soon Venezuela :-)

Cabo Mexico Wedding photographer

This time I would like to share with all you a very special wedding: Sammy and Bernie’s celebration. I know Sammy since 2014, she’s working as wedding planner at one of the best resorts in Mexico, One & Only Palmilla Resort, she is so great. I shoot there many weddings and soon we became friends. She knows perfectly my way to work, my treat with the client, my documentary approach, my way to see the world trough my camera viewfinder. She took a look at many photographer’s work during those years, so once she told me if I was available to shoot their wedding, wow, you can’t imagine the emotion I felt. Then I met for the first time Bernie the groom, an amazing creative guy and human being. Love this couple, love their vibes and energy, they spent many years together and now they are ready for the big step. Thank you so much for the trust my friends.

Hope you enjoy this local Cabo wedding. You will see how everyone really had good time, laughing all day long. An incredible group of easy going people. Love it! Thanks to Gonzalo to second shoot with me

My favorite wedding photos of 2016 | Best wedding photos of 2016

I know I know, I’m in late! It’s already March 2017 and I’m just preparing the collection of the best wedding photos of 2016. I promise you, next year I will be faster :-) But it’s never too late to show your art, yes because I want to think about my work as art. The wedding photography is not the same than ten or fifteen years ago, it changed a lot, we evolved as wedding photographers, we can now create some bold imagery that years ago were unthinkable. So year after year, I found and developed my way to see the world, and I want to think that is unique, not because it’s amazing, but because it’s mine, I put soul and heart in every photos and only when I think it’s time to shoot, I click on the shutter button, that’s it.

I want to be sure that in these clicks, there are my visual culture, my feelings, my perspective, my instincts, my way to see the world. This quote by Ansel Adams (one of my idols) is perfect for this occasion: “You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”

That’s why I would love to share with all of you this collection of my favorite photos of 2016. There is only one reason why they are here: they drive me crazy haha. Moments, landscapes, abstract, candid, posed, artistic, tender, weird, authentic, etc etc … That’s me! Thanks a lot to all the couples that put their faith in me to capture their big day, to the parents, family members, friends, wedding coordinators,  vendors, colleagues and all the people involved in the wedding stories of 2016. Thank you with all my heart!

Enjoy them and feel free to leave a comment. Good vibes to all of you
