my 2017

A bunch of things were happening in those days: lots of work, travels, workshops, contests, awards, weddings, conferences... I was really busy and everything seemed to be running perfectly, until some edgy ideas popped up in my mind in ~~2017.~~

~~About this time,~~

I realized that I was part of a routine; I started perceiving the wedding photography as a factory, the same way to do it all. Therefore, I began asking this to myself: If I truly believe that there are many —aesthetically and emotionally— beautiful, unique, authentic, candid and interesting moments in people’s life, that it would be a shame to loose or not to remember them as they took place; then, why a photographer should ever script a moment, instead of just telling the story as it really happened?... I also remembered that photojournalism industry (of which I am a huge admirer) teaches that a true documentalist is expected to observe and record events as they unfold, without any interference or adulteration.
